“Where we’re going we don’t need roads”
Watching one of my favorite movies of all time Back to the Future it made me ponder on how we will look at social media in the year 2030 and ask the question will today’s platforms even be relevant? As we soar to the mobile age of images and video trending over content and argument reality speedily moving forward, social media really has become the new form of EAS (this is only a test beep beep beep) among the world. So how will marketers adjust with the mobility in connection with social media and the crazy mass of technology included wiping our brain clean of sensible traditional advertising to the space age of jet fast information?
So like many to clear my mind of the confusion, I went to the web for clarity and decided to share some insightful information that can help all who’s panicking like Don Juan over here. Breath with me… whoosah Although social media will change the magic balls tells me the principles of marketing will remain the same.
Check out these 6 tips on mobile marketing that may calm the nerves:
- Know your audience- understand and study the user behavior.
- Build advance user segmentation – connect with unique users in ways they can identify
- Nothing beats, custom message and campaigns- engagement is key
- Deliver message during relevant moment- who want to buy shoes while playing Game of War (I don’t get out here with this distraction!)
- Select the right channel – try out of the box techniques with your mobile display ads
- Track, Measure, Optimize- how else will you know if the campaign worked and get the most for your buck duh…. lol
It sincerely noted that as we advance in technology, it will change how we analyze behavior and the display of marketing messages, but this is what makes marketing fun and never a zombie dead job. As marketers, we have the ability to create a user experience that’s unforgettable to our audience. Maybe I should just say “Marty, where we’re going we don’t need roads” just the ability to adapt with the times.
Until next time stay web cougars my friends!
